Split is a Mediterranean city, situated at the centre of the eastern Adriatic coast, around 3 hour drive from Dubrovnik. Many of Split‘s historical and cultural buildings can be found within the walls of Diocletian‘s Palace. The official history of Split stretches back for 1700 years, when the Roman emperor Diocletian built his palace (emulating the form of the Roman military camp) as a place to which he would retire after stepping down from the imperial throne.

During this tour you‘ll be passing a big part of Croatian south coast, many little villages and places, great beaches and much more. You can stop at many great places, swim, have coffee or just take photos as the nature beauties of Croatian coast are just breathtaking. This is a great opportunity to see many more places and explore the coast while staying in Dubrovnik.

This tour can be arranged as one or two days tour, depending on which places you wish to visit. You can combine this tour with Mostar or Medjugorje, or go to Trogir or Šibenik (historical cities on Adriatic coast, both on Unesco‘s list of World‘s protected heritage) as well as Krka waterfalls (national park) if taking a two days tour.
