My family and I (eight in total) booked two one day tours with Dubrovnik Top Tours. On the first day, we were headed to Bosnia & Herzegovina. Our guide, Boris, was on time. He was friendly and greeted everyone individually. Boris was very engaging and knowledgeable! The journey to the border was not long but it seemed like we were there in no time as we were constantly conversing. Places of interest were pointed out by Boris along the route. When we arrived in Pocitelj village, Boris shared his knowledge and encouraged us to climb the stairs to the ruined tower to get a view over the entire area. Being a large group, not everyone wanted to. Boris was considerate and stayed with those who chose not to climb. Moving on, we proceeded to Mostar. Again, places of interest and history was passed on. Boris knew the locals. He arranged for us to witness a jump from the famous old bridge and try the traditional coffee. After, we had free time to peruse the local shops – which the women certainly took advantage of! I was able to climb to the top of one of the famous tourist mosques; the view was magnificent! Got some great photos of the old bridge. The other stops were just as exciting and we were able to personalise our day with Boris. On our way home, the sun was setting. Boris did not hesitate to stop, when we asked, to allow us to capture the sunset from high up in the mountain – you can’t imagine how beautiful the sunset was! For the second tour, we went to Montenegro. Again, Boris was punctual and enthusiastic. We certainly looked forward to spending the day with him. Boris always made recommendations and allowed us to make our own choices. The bay of Kotor was amazing! We had lunch at a restaurant suggested by Boris. The food was delicious! We climbed the stairs to Our Lady of Health Chapel. The view was just stunning – the entire bag was surrounded by mountains. Boris made stops as requested to allow us to do shopping etc. The day was certainly ours. On our way back, Boris made two unplanned stops to places we had not seen in Dubrovnik. We were grateful for this. He certainly puts his guests’ experience ahead of anything else. Dubrovnik Top Tours is definitely a company we would recommend without hesitation. Thanks Boris and Igor – you made my 60th birthday trip a fantastic adventure (June 2015). All 11 of us loved the day trip to Montenegro where the scenery was out of this world. Boris took us to kotor bay and a number of other places off the beaten track.He s friendly ,very interesting ,very knowledgeable on tourism and many other subjects and basically a nice guy.He even loaned us his mother’s wheelchair for the week for my wife who is due to have a hip operation.So I highly recommend him He has built a family business who truly care that they leave a good impression not only of themselves but of croatia and without doubt he succeeded Thank you from Ian and Helen

Dubrovnik Top Tours did an unbelievable job and was by far the best tour company I’ve ever did business with and probably will deal with in the future (and I’ve dealt with a ton). From start to finish everything was perfect and professional. Ivana did a great job helping us get everything set up and organized at the begging as we were doing 2 days worth of trips with a pretty complex and custom itinerary. There was excellent and quick communication through out the process. We did the Mostar, Bosnia day trip and the Montenegro Kotor Bay trip. Our Driver/guide was Igor who was fantastic. I can’t say enough nice things about him. He really went above and beyond for us and made us feel like we had been friends for years. They cool thing I like is that Igor also recommended lots of local stuff such as foods, drinks, restaurants, etc. Really things a normal tourist would know about and you can’t find in a guidebook. You can also tell he is proud of his country and wants to share it with the world. Igor also has a very wide knowledge of the area from history, to football, movies and everything in between. He knows his stuff. Also, if you like photography Igor knows a lot of good shooting locations since he knows the area so well. We also had the pleasure of meeting Boris (Igor’s brother) who also takes people on tours and he was wonderful as well. We really felt like we got a truly personalized experience and that the team at Dubrovnik Top Tours really cared about us and our time we spent in their country. I would 100% recommend booking through them no matter which tour it is because you can’t go wrong with this group of people.

We had the most delightful experience in our tour to Split. I have to add that Boris made our day unique. He is very knowledgeable, funny, an excellent guide. I highly recommend this company, you will not be disappointed. Thank you, Boris!!!!

I went on two different tours with Igor, and was impressed by his knowledge and adaptability. Montenegro was beautiful, with its Roman mosaics in Risan, the island with Our Lady of the Rocks, the photographic seaside town of Perast, and the interesting walled town of Kotor. My son joined me for another day in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a fascinating country with a rich culture and diversity. We visited Pocitelj, climbing up to the fortress for spectacular views of the Neretva valley, Mostar with its famous bridge, marketplace, and delicious cuisine, and the historical sites of Blagaj. We visited Croatia in June, and we took some a 3 day trip Boris.
Day 1
Excursion to the Postojna Caves National Park in Slovenia. Huge and ancient stalactites and stalagmites, very attractive; we took a train that runs through. Spectacular! Boris knows a lot and was always telling us lots of facts about the places. After the caves we drove by the city of Rovigno – charming seaside village with promenade along the sea and the harbor, lovely cafes. Spotting the Pula Peninsula in our way, beautiful city and its pride – the super and well preserved Roman arena which is huge, they usually have shows and concerts there It was a long day but really great! We can trully recommend Boris and his company. He is so friendly and experienced. He knows so much about his country´s history and had lots of stories from the different places vi visited.
Day 2
Plitvice National Park. Amazing lakes and waterfalls absolutely crystal clear water, we took a boat on the lake, and a little train throughout the park, and walked along the waterfalls. Unforgettable experience! After the National Park we headed to Zadar, a lovely town with an attractive coastal walk, walked in the old city, that has lots of small shops, visited the cathedral, we tasted the exquisite coffee Julius Meinl according to Boris recommendations.
Day 3
We visited Sibenik and its waterfront, then we walked around Trogir, with its outdoor fair, winding streets in the old city. We stopped by in Split to visit the market, and of course the fantastic waterfront and the old city. We headed to Ston which stands inside its well-preserved ancient walls, its cozy streets with restaurants and cafés, and above all, we ate the magnificent and super fresh oysters and mussels freshly picked from the most crystal clear sea farm you could imagine. After this we stayed in Dubrovnik for some days, and asked Boris to fix the airport transfer for us. He came earlier than arranged, and the trip to he airport took approximately 30 minutes, a very nice ride first through the city centre and later by the sea. Thanks Boris for our best Croatia experience! A fantastic trip with the best guide! You were always happy and friendly, and really adapted the pace of the excursion to us, a retired couple interested in seeing as much as possible!

Best tour guides! We had a great tour with Igor to Montenegro stopping in Perast, taking a boat ride over to Our Lady of the Rock, waking thru Kotor and on its walls, enjoying a nice lunch, walking up to the top of The Castle of Sokol and other sites, ending the day in Cavtat. On another day we toured Bosnia with Boris (the wilder brother, only kidding) and had a fantastic day stopping for Bosnian coffee, visiting a couple of mosques, walking thru Mostar over its famous bridge, enjoying an authentic Bosnian meal, having a drink in a unique cave bar, walking the walls of Ston and other places, ending the day eating the best oysters and mussels we have ever tasted! The deep diversity of their knowledge was outstanding! They are amazing guides and by the end of the day you think of them as family. We had two of the best days of our five week Croation vacation with them, thank you Boris and Igor!

I was with friends in Dubrovnik, and we were delighted with how well Boris arranged everything for us. He’s funny and entertaining with all his knowledge of Croatia and its history. Even though he talks while driving, he’s still an extremely good driver! Boris, we wish you every success in the future. I was among 8 friends from Poland who visited Dubrovnik and met Boris. I came to visit Croatia first time in my life , without any knowledge of this part of the world. Now, I know who was JB Tito , M Polo, N Tesla. I close my eyes and see all Dubrovnik destroyed during the domestic world. I remember the story about his granddad’s gold and fight for freedom of his dad (nickname Oak ) Croatia is not only the beaches and fantastic weather , there are people who love own country, respect family values and for this lesson I would like to say thank you to Boris.

Boris made our trip to Sarejevo and Lake Shkoder one to remember. He was extremely accommodating and full of stories about Croatia. One of the best days of our trip! Thanks to Boris, who has a pleasant and witty personality and is quite well read. Our day trip to Montenegro was very well organized and Boris made sure to reach on time, showed us all the major attractions and even clicked a lot of photographs for us 🙂 He customizes the tour according to his guest’s requirements and makes sure that they have a memorable experience. I will highly recommend these tours to anyone who visits Dubrovnik.

We had Boris has a tour guide for our trip to Mostar in Bosnia. He arrived early at the hotel and set off in a pleasant vehichle on our trip. Throughout the journey Boris was keen to point out points of interests as well as giving us information about Croatia (for example, passing the mussels growing aroud Ston he gave us information about other areas of the economy). We particularly liked discussion issues such as the EU and the contrasting viewpoints we had as well as the discussions on football etc during the drive. Boris has an infectious personality which means we got to get better views and a more enjoyable trip. For example, we drank coffee in the diving club, which gave great views of the divers from the bridge. We also interacted well with the staff in the delicious Bosnia restaurant we ate at. He showed us around several points of interest in Mostar as well as the Kravice Falls close by. If I was to make a future visit to Croatia, I would without a doubt, book with Boris and his company. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Boris provided courteous and prompt transportation to and from the airport for our family. He also took our family on a day tour to Mostar. Not only is he full of useful information but he also delivers the information enthusiastically. He was pleasant to us and our children. For a private driver and a pleasant memory to last a lifetime this is the way to go!

Boris is a very energetic, engaging person and has a great knowledge of the area. We had a great time on the tour to Montenegro from Dubrovnik, and was the best day of our holiday. We would highly recommend him and will most certainly be using him again when we are next in Dubrovnik.
